I submitted 10/3 and still haven't heard anything. I guess that really says it all for me here doesn't it?

Just submitted for regular decision. Hope Adcoms is not too prejudiced against non-early decision applicants. I really liked the school.

Deferred early applicant. Just got ding.

For anybody who has gotten rejected, do you know if everyone's letter automatically says they think you would be better for the EMBA program? Mine said that my background and experience may be better suited...

If it's a pretty common thing for them to say I don't know how I feel about putting another $250 into applying again. However, I would be curious about others' experiences.

Not the best news to get while finalizing Wharton's R2 application.

Mine said the exact same thing.

Sorry to hear. Did you guys send adcom any updates?
Good luck on R2 apps and other schools....

MCE7 are you still waiting on a decision?!?

Don't look at your submission date as the only criterion for when you should've had an answer. If you look at the ED pages, you'll see a couple people uploaded spreadsheets - the spreadsheets show that some people waited for a month before getting an interview and then got accepted, while others received invites very quickly and got dinged.

Bottom line: the CBS process requires a lot of patience….

Hi, no I did not submit an update. I am getting a promotion in a few days, but had planned to send the update after it was official. Did not expect an answer so soon.

I'm 5yrs experience/27 upon matriculation btw. Pretty senior role/responsibility at a small firm, but still don't really get when EMBA would be the right call. I had actually given it thought before and passed. In a way the fact that they want someone as relatively young as me speaks against the 'selling point' of the program. Plus, unless I am mistaken it is both more expensive and impossible to be considered for any aid at all. Given that I am not sponsored, that makes it a very poor value proposition all around.

Interested to hear as more people get dings whether their letters encourage EMBA.

Sorry to hear that it's been such a long wait. Have you followed up with the admissions office at all? You should have at least been deferred by now, if they wanted to wait on a final decision. Maybe they're assembling a massive scholarship package for you =)

rob, you should definitely get in touch with adcom. it should say that the interview process is complete as soon as your interview has submitted your review, which means it may not have been submitted yet.
