Thank you for sharing this Peter. As an admitted student, seeing the new ranking this morning raised a red flag. I am relieved to see that this was due to a technicality and doesn't reflect the reality of Stern's current strengths. Shame on US News for misrepresenting this data.

We aren't happy about it either. Personally I am a bit angered that the administration (of an historically top ten school) could let this happen. And also quite annoyed that US News wouldn't recast the rankings - although it can be argued that it is not their job to chase down data points from schools. If you have any questions about the school feel free to PM me and I will answer as best as possible. The school has surpassed my expectations and I couldn't recommend it more.

I'm still waiting. I applied for Verification on January 20th and still haven't heard back. Not sure if this is good or bad!

I've been hearing that no news is good news but it's definitely frustrating to be waiting around for it! I submitted mine on February 19 so guess I'll be waiting a while lol.

So, for the benefit of those who are unnecessarily anxious like I am, just wanted to give a heads up that I never got an email about my verification but the completion update was posted on my application status page. No idea how long it's been there lol.
