Thanks MBAGuide for reply . No , I continued venture for about 2.5 years (in college) then due to some personnel and financial problems have to keep that aside .
Now working in an MNC as software developer in client facing role (I think this is good as per my goal --> half of my team is foreign based and clients are always foreign ,currently largest telecom in Indonesia). Also in span of only 3.5 years ,I have received 2 promotions (It is very hard in large sized MNC) .
Also my UG is from tier 1 college ( An IIT) with 7.08/10 GPA
That's why I was thinking maybe I can have some chance .
But that international exposure thing is bothering me .(I think if there is little chance then no point of filling application form).
And can I explicitly mention somewhere why I don't have any professional international exposure in my form .
Thanks for your reply.

Hi Gaurav2896 , with strong essays and a stellar narrative tying all your career decisions together you could stand a decent chance at getting consideration from INSEAD. As I mentioned earlier, international motivation is evaluated objectively by Ad com and does not necessarily mean a physical relocation. Experience of working in an international team in a client facing role can be a strong motivator to pursue an MBA from a top global B school. Let the stories where you resolved conflicts in an extremely diverse team situated across time zones and led your team to succeed be the highlight of your professional narrative. Be candid about not being able to physically immerse in a foreign culture due to strict COVID norms on travel. On motivational essays reflect on your formative years and life story and bring forth any uniqueness in your character that resonates with INSEAD's values. Needless to say present a well rounded profile supported by ECs, community work or diversity initiatives. Show involvement with proof of networking with alums or professionals working in your target field and geography post MBA.

Best wishes

Gaurav2896

Hi gcazar18 , there is no lower limit officially for GMAT and the consideration of your score would depend on your relative performance to other applicants from your geographical region, ethnicity, professional and social background. If you come from a country or ethnic group that is least represented you may stand a strong chance of getting an admit.

And one of my clients had 10 years of experience sound they offered him a place in the executive program. He applied R3. Of course he declined, got an interview at IMD, accepted R3 at IESE and acccepted January batch at HEC.

OK I need a little bit more information, let’s think about this from their framework of academics, leadership, contribution and international orientation. What is your GPA, tell me about leadership inside and outside of the office, have you left a positive, organizational impact? how could you contribute INSEAD, which is best substantiated by how you have contributed in the past at school, community, training everyone a software at work. It looks like you have two years of international work experience, why do you need an international career? Like how would the school help you with that?

Hello, I was rejected in R2 of Instead Jan intake of 2022 without an interview invite. My gmat score was 760. I am Indian, working in thermal industry , experience over 6 years. I am thinking about reapplying in Jan intake 2023 R1. I have changed jobs after last year after rejection but I don’t have any international experience. I have only worked in an international setting when I managed a project recently. Should I apply in insead or look for HEC?

Think about where you fall with regards to the four areas and where you’ve had major upgrades since last year and that would be academic/GMAT, leadership, contribution, and international orientation. That includes international work experience but also even more critical international career goal. Demonstrating a necessity for United Nations style program

I’m pretty pessimistic about them giving you a very objective review one year later because their philosophy is often that you haven’t grown enough in that amount of time. It’s such a long application I don’t know if I would spend all that time when it’s sort of a known fact that they are not very reapplicant friendly.
