Hi guys,

Sharing a quick update for everyone. I was rejected.

Interviews were great. Indian, GMAT 760, with decent work ex. Unfortunately, no ‘foreign experience’. I’m guessing that may have hampered the chances.

Do keep that in mind while applying for R2 and R3. Good luck to all, and congratulations to the admitted! Cheers!

Actually I have international experience and all my clients I work in day to day basis are from 4 different continents I don’t know why I was waitlisted May be they had great profiles but as far as I know from this chat only one Indian got accepted so it’s tricky .

So generally, INSEAD values international experience and diversity quite a lot. And international experience does not just have to be work exp. But travel, volunteering, living, all counts. But the general rule of thumb is, the more diverse the better. Atleast that is what I have heard.

But then again, indian IT male candidates seem to have to play this game on extreme difficulty level 😅 so there is no telling what is going on in the adcom’s head.
