Dear INSEAD Aspirants,The criteria INSEAD applies to its applicants are a perpetual subject of discussion and interest. INSEAD is unique in that it explicitly highlights global orientation as a key criterion for applicants. This has generated significant curiosity and questions about what makes a strong candidate for this prestigious Business school.
I have regularly engaged with INSEAD aspirants on this platform, and I provide candid feedback when profiles don't align with INSEAD's preferences.
While I will continue to be honest in my response, I encourage applicants from the impact and sustainability sectors to step forward should they want to discuss their INSEAD prospects with me.
INSEAD has emphasized the importance of sustainability in its curriculum this year. Recalling my time at INSEAD, I can attest that as recently as five years ago, I do not specifically recall sustainability being at the forefront of even my most favorite courses taught at INSEAD.
INSEAD has possibly recognized this sentiment and has strongly advocated for taking action. This year, INSEAD has incorporated sustainability into all core courses of its MBA curriculum and aims to cultivate leaders who can champion solutions to significant global challenges while also fostering financial performance and advancement.
Recently, some very inspiring aspirants from the Indian impact and sustainability sector reached out to me for a profile evaluation. I strongly believe that their unique perspectives, despite limited international exposure, will be highly valued at INSEAD. Whether you have an atypical background or not, I would be delighted to have a conversation and offer assistance in any way I can.
