just received an e-mail from "Office of Admissions" .... from IE Business school , a spam e-mail inviting me to attend some on-line event.

Naw man. He's making a joke about how we're all pressing f5 to refresh and getting excited to see a new email come through only to see that it's marketing collateral from another school. (I only found it mildly amusing as well, haha)

+ 1 kudos, yes it was a joke. LOL IE is very obsessive in marketing their school. Guys take it easy. It is just an interview. It is a matter of normal distribution -some get invites/admits from/to some schools other get dings. It depends on YOU and your application, not the school.
