Just got an acceptance email too, but nothing about scholarship. This means I won't get any? The mail says: "Look out for the formal offer in an admission package in the next week or two". Maybe something can change in the next weeks regarding scholarships? Thank you for your support !

Regarding commitment I am still very confused. If I go for BU my mba is free. But i will wait for kenan flagler, darden, and georgetown to release their notifications.

Wow, so sad to see that they are basing their scholarships on gmat only. They should focus more on GPA. In my humble opinion, 4 years > 4 hours. #sad #weakschool

It seems many guys have received acceptance letters. Congrats! I'm also an round 2 applicant but I haven't received any email from BU after interview. I wrote to the admissions and they replied: "We are completing our review of applications for round 2 this week and expect to release decisions no later than March 6th." I'm from China the maninland. Is there still any chance I can get admitted? Sigh...

1. No they shouldn't. A school shouldn't decide to give you a scholarship based on your scores and scores alone. Irrespective of GPA or GMAT. It should give you a scholarship if you actually deserve it, meaning that if the university sees that you have been a positive force in the world by your social work, co-curricular activities, achievements, scores, a bit of everything.

2. I think BU did exactly that. I have a gmat of measly 710, as compared to some people who have 740, 750 and still dont manage to get a scholarship. (I got full tuition scholarship by the way)

3. You should rethink who deserves to be called weak. A person who is hashtagging a respectable school #weakschool or a school that is actually giving out scholarships left and right to well deserved candidates.

Choose your words wisely.

I think it is safe to say that they sent out all the acceptance letters Monday and then those waitlisted and dinged they just release on the last day....
