ok count me in for J-term..submitted the form for the spreadsheet..
profile - 24 m India/720/4.5 yrs WE in I-Banking
Submitted on 29th Aug, but had to take the TOEFL in order to make my application complete. Got my TOEFL score yesterday and sent it across to AdCom immediately...so my application has finally gone under review a gd 25 days later!
as an international applicant, i am kinda behind schedule and losing 25 days has really not helped my case..hopefully it is all worth it...now time for the wait and watch (which as everyone wud agree is the worst part!)
a big congrats to all who are in already and good luck to the rest!

To whoever updates the spreadsheet. I got invited to Interview ON september 13th. I interviewed on September 22nd. Interview was submitted by my interviewer today, the 23rd. Is there another step that says application complete or is the next step just the decision? Either way, I will have my phone out at all times now.
For people interested in my interview story, I had a fairly unique experience. At first I would have to travel to Chicago from STL to get an interview because the website didn't give me anyone closer than that. I e-mailed columbia and got no response. I would have called them but I tried spelling out Saint Louis, and that popped up one interviewer. This guy was really high up and graduated 30 years ago, so I was skeptical on how it would go. The interview was good though. The interview was very casual, and it was pretty much just, work experience and college experience, why MBA, why now, and why Columbia. Otherwise, it was just casual talk, no real tough questions.

I wonder if there's any difference in interviewing with older or younger alumni...
