Hmm...thats a good question! The truth is, at work, I daydream for most of the time until I have very little time left to actually do all my work. But in that narrow time slot of sheer panic, I'm actually quite productive. That somehow works out for me as I can only seem to work well under pressure these days.

I'm sure that wasn't the answer you were looking for though... :-D

I submitted on Dec 30th and recieved an interview invite on Jan 18th. Haven't heard back yet so I dont know what good the early invitation does anyway.

So I guess the answer is you guys are not managing yourselves? I thought you were going to give me some tips on how to get some stuff done and how to appear productive to my colleagues...

I have not interviewed but I got into another school R1 so I am going somewhere...that I know

anyone else surprised no one that applied in january has gotten an interview invite yet? I know there was probably a huge influx around that time period, but seems like they should be working their way through the pile...it's been at least 2-3 weeks since most of us went under review -
