Good question - I haven't got an email.

bigdog21
Did emails go out to every RD applicant or just the people whose applications they have reviewed?

This was the mail, it sounds more like the mail went to every RD applicant

"We hope that you and your loved ones continue to stay safe and healthy! The MBA Admissions Office is reaching out to inform you that the review process for Regular Decision applications will begin today, November 15, 2021.

Applications will be reviewed in the order in which they were received. Our goal is to provide an update for for each applicant, whether that is an invitation to interview or a deny decision, within six weeks from this date. For updates on your application status, please login to your application status page.

We look forward to reviewing your application soon. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you further. "

Did anyone here interview with someone from admissions?

Just had my interview today (app date 10/15) and the interviewer said she's going to recommend me to adcom in her feedback right after. How do I check when feedback is submitted and how soon should I expect a decision post feedback?

CBS sends you an email once the interview feedback is submitted. Now assuming you applied in RD and not ED for the Aug entry and not J-Term - You are probably one of the first batch of RD applicants being interviewed. You were invited to interview, which is a good sign. Add to that your interviewer (assuming it was an alum and not a current student because an alum saying this, imo, would carry a lot more weight) said they are going to recommend you at the end of the interview. So your interview, most probably, went very very well for an interviewer to say that. It is possible you hear back within 7-8 working days from the date of interview feedback submission with some positive news. The only variables that might skew this (along with the bunch of assumptions I have made above :P ), imo, are if 1) you are incredibly unlucky in that a bunch of people with a similar profile have already received admits in ED, which could get you pushed to WL; 2) the amount of workload Adcom currently has with trying to roundout the J-term class while also reviewing RD apps for Aug entry.

Also please note: please dont treat what I have written above as gospel. Its just me doing some guesswork and estimations that may or may not pan out. After all, MBA applications and decisions are truly a black box, imho.

I applied through Consortium but I think that falls under RD

thank you! All of your assumptions are correct, but the interview - she’s a current student. I will be patiently waiting 😊

I was admitted to CBS on Friday and saw that my lifetime email address was generated this morning. Vaguely recall there is a Slack group we can join once the email is generated. Can anyone direct me how to do so?

Nvm - sounds like I should get an email about it soon.

Are there any candidates currently in Mainland China?

Im unable to take the GMAT, and I need guidance on how people are navigating this situation.
