Guys, anyone applied with a EA score to CBS in the early decision round?

Also, applied to CBS on 20th Aug - is it late?

Hi all,
So I recently took the executive assessment test and scored relatively well - 167 (99% percentile) (IR 18; Q 15; V 14).

Would appreciate getting some insight from people who've applied with an EA, or had come across other candidates who had applied with an EA, as to how competitive such a score would be in the applicable FT MBA programs (Columbia; Stern etc.)?

Hi everyone! I’m applying for J-Term 2023. I’m considering retaking GMAT for a higher score, but I am in between applying sooner (within the next 5 days) or retaking the test and then applying (it would be around September 10 days away from deadline). Would it be best to apply earlier with a not so strong score or later with (good chances) of a better score? Tks

I think it depends on what your considering not so strong. I think people would agree that time Is not your friend in rolling admissions.

I applied today. Should I be worried that there is not enough space?

I submitted on September 1 and haven't heard from them. It is perhaps also that as the application season heats up, CBS may be facing difficulties in assessing what they are having! I am waiting anxiously too!

All the best to you mate

As a brief background about myself:

30 YO white male, from Australia (born in Poland)

UG GPA: 92% (Top 5% of my class); Won several academic awards during the studies

UG major: Law (top 3 school in my country)

WE: Lawyer in the field of M&A in one of the leading law firms (BigLaw) in my country for approx. 5 years; Currently working as an IB associate at a leading boutique IB (~1 year so far)

Other info: First generation college student; Moved on my own to Australia at the age of 18 and have lived there ever since.

I've also taken the GMAT (best score - 660 (Q49; V31)). At this stage, I'm less inclined to make another attempt at the GMAT, owing to the intensity of my current job. Regardless, I might submit my GMAT score for a couple of FT EU MBA programs I'm considering (namely, LBS and INSEAD), whilst also mentioning (perhaps in my essays) the high percentile EA score I just received.

Many thanks

Hi mate! I am an applicant from the overrepresented Indian male category. I served with the Indian military for the past 11 years and studied for a semester on an exchange program at Flinders University, Adelaide. 167 is a solid score and from as far as my research goes, that should get you into any program of your choice which takes EA! I have a 160 (I14, Q13, V13). I have a similar GMAT 670 (Q49, V33) so I suggest that you focus on submitting a strong application and stop worrying about your score. Anything above 155 is like above 700 for GMAT! So that's that!

Applying quite late as I made the final decision to apply later than what would have been ideal.

brief background about myself:

31 Pakistani origin male, (US Born)

UG GPA: 3.22

EA: Took the GMAT a few times 5 years ago, never broke past 700. Took 5 years to rebuild application and took the EA. Scored 170 (18/18/14)

UG major: Biological Sciences Major, T2 school

WE: Family business in healthcare as admin and technology director, 8 years of experience. 2 years of experience with moderately successful startups I founded.

Other info: Volunteering with cancer research, fundraising, and a stint as a standup comedian. Have a real estate license and multiple IT certs.
