One observation: Cornell’s been oddly quiet this year. I’m seeing far fewer reported interview invites than at peer schools.

They’ve realized they can’t just juice internationals with high stats with dogshit work experience (laid off back to back jobs but 740 gmat scores) to juice up the rankings .

May also be over run. Under budget and overworked. 😔

Because that will lead to poor employment reports hence what happening now How would that lead to smaller invites? I did visit and they did run very very lean.

Bringing a low caliber class is not only looking bad in the reports but also damages morale and reputation. Schools and adcom also try to avoid creating a negative experience for people. They don’t want to admit a bunch of people and people not being able to find jobs
