look i dont know exactly what you did at your jobs but you wouldnt need to do IB for that you could do consulting or corp strategy

basically a loophole for h1b so we dont have to worry about that

I did a corp dev internship once and everyone either came from banking or tier 1 consulting for the most part

I mean the market for IB associates isn't as good as it was post COVID, but students across the top banking schools are still telling me 75-90% placement. Not Armageddon
