Hi All, Need some help with a deferral request. Anyone who requested this year and was granted or denied. My family recently had a car accident and I want to request for a deferral.

Regarding deferred admission, I don't know but I guess you can request adcom for any particular info given your situation. Goes, without saying though that please check any info on this already on their website, I am sure you might have already done that research though. Wish you the best.

Very sorry to hear that I got to know through soneone that she took deferal cz of fam emergency in Ross and she got it She got a confirmation on the email for the same. Would say talk to adcom

Sorry to hear about this 🙏🏻 I suggest that you also reach out to current first years at Darden and ask them to help you with a contact of someone who's gone through the deferral process in the last cycle. There were a few people who had to defer due to visa reasons and they were asked to re-apply, but yours is an emergency situation and ideally should be approved afaik! Other people on the sub who've used a consultant, if you could ask them about similar deferal candidates of last cycle and possibly get a contact, it might be of help here!
