Relax gsmon - everything's the same for me except I DID visit the school...but not invited. It's not GMAT/GPA both of which are at the median or slightly higher for me. It's the other stuff (essays, etc.) . I'd guess the same for you.

You had "peer" recommendations? Not from supervisors or higher level people?

I had both - supervisors plus peer. Fuqua was my backup...LOL!! Do they give feedback as to why you didn't make it?

Yeah, Fuqua probably wasn't a good backup unless you're something like a bonafide former NBA player (i.e. Pat Garrity, saw him at the place where he interned last summer lol), which at the same time would make applying to Fuqua needless. I think all schools would like to see both recommendations as coming from superiors though. Though I doubt that killed you. Probably a mixture of a common profile with quantifiable stats (GPA/GMAT etc.) that were good but not breathtaking.

Guys.. had a question... if one doesn't get invited for interview, does that mean it is the end of the road... Because the note that I got from them states that its not the case and one may be called for an interview at a later stage? any experiences or thoughts on how it plays out - do you know anyone who was not initially invited but later got an invitation or got an admit without an interview? Regards
