When I checked my application status last Friday, it said "Invited". I don't see the interview status anymore and they haven't sent the interview scheduling email yet. Does anyone else notice this too?

Hopefully they're just updating. I really hope they send us those emails soon, I'd like to book a ticket before the prices go up. Anyone else from CA going to Durham?

Roll Call Updated I hope I got everyone, but no guarantees :)

Sorry guys I am not updating the interview status, but when I originally took over the thread the interview status wasn't included in the updates and I am simply too lazy to go back through 80+ and update that through the rounds...If someone wanted to compile a list for me (us) well that'd be another story :-D

I also cannot access my Interview status, although when I checked over the weekend, it said 'invited'.

Did anyone receive the e-mail today?

Same as everyone else here. My "invite" is gone, and no email. Not looking good for today, almost 7pm est. Hopefully we'll hear something tomorrow or Duke admissions will have quite a few people calling them haha

Does anyone know if its just a straightforward interview over the 2 weekend sessions in Durham, or will they have info sessions, tours, time to speak with current students, etc..

Need to book a flight from Cali so hopefully there is more info soon.

I'm sure it's just a glitch on Duke's part. For the record, my "Invited" also disappeared on the login page and received no email.

I don't think there's a direct flight from LAX to Durham. You're probably going to be looking at Delta that has a connecting flight from LAX to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Charlotte (that's my guess). I'll be flying from San Diego and thus far, my interview flights have been connecting flights. In terms of vehicles, you'll probably want to calculate the taxi fares vs. rent-a-car cost. I don't know how long it takes from the airport to Durham, but a 10-mile trip in San Diego will cost me $50. Rentin a compact car via Enterprise ran me just about $90 a day. I think renting a car would be a better choice if that same equations carries true on Duke's side.

I flew from LAX to visit Fuqua to participate in a diversity weekend. No direct flights that I found. I had to fly into Atlanta and then transfer to a commuter jet for a short flight into Raleigh/Durham. The cab ride was like $40 from what I remember.

My interview status also disappeared, so it's prob a glitch or an update. Nothing to worry about. I have a screen capture to document my status, so I have proof!! Haha. Hopefully they will send out the email to schedule soon so we can buy tickets to travel.

Well, I didn't have an interview invite but now the "Not Invited" text has disappeared and has been replaced by "GMAT/GRE:Received - TOEFL/IELTS:Not Applicable"..

Hoping that they missed me out when sending the invites and now when the status does appear again, it says "Invited"... :)

They will have other things too. I know there will be students in the admissions lounge and tours being given...I don't know if they also offer class visits with the number of people there on Friday.

Travel tips: If you find a cheap car rental, that's likely easiest. If you're able to get a group together, a cab will probably not be too expensive, around 35-40. If you're alone, Durham has Super Shuttle which I've taken for $26.
