I scheduled for my intertview two weeks ago but i wasnt able to attach the resume
i have sent in the updated resume to the admissions office but they havent gotten back to me
my concern is if i update or modify the schedule, will that make me lose the time slot i had allocated and would it look bad on me if i updated it now
my interview is on the 26

I've been to 2 i/v till this day: 1st interviewer didn't bother to print it, and I ended up telling him about my life story "tabula rasa"; 2nd interviewer printed my CV 30 seconds before we started talking (on a printer near the i/v room).

Conclusion: don't make an issue out of it. Just bring a hard-copy of your resume with you (explain briefly, only if you see it needs explanations - just don't sound blaming - why you didn't succeed in sending it).

That's it.

I was a little bored so I used Businessweek / Forbes to acquire admission stats from the previous years starting in 1998 and compile them in this excel. You may want to try this with other schools to see if there are similar trends.

File comment: I didn't check my work completely but it's interesting to see how Fuqua used to interview a higher % of applicants before than they do today.

Hi All,

I am sorry I have been neglecting my forum 'duties' lately - in particular not updating the roll call. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be able to free up more time in the near-/midterm to stay on top of these things either. If there is someone out here who is willing to take over these duties and this thread, please send BB a pm and reference my post here.

Good Luck All with your B-school endeavors!

Quick question - are on campus interviews mostly conducted by students or does the admissions committee get involved? I know R2 applicants have been interviewing the past couple of weeks and mines coming up soon, so just trying to gauge who my interviewer might be.

Thanks!

For anyone who just on campus for the interview weekend, how was your overall experience? I noticed they said interviews were business casual. What did you guys wear. Trying to figure out what to pack for this upcoming weekend.

I had a great visit. Fuqua really impressed me as compared to some of the other schools I've visited (and I'm a Carolina grad so that means a fair bit). I actually over prepped for the interview and might have sounded a little too rehearsed but for the most part the interview was the standard interview questions in an informal environment. My interviewer was terrific. I didn't see anyone there in business casual though. Everyone was wearing a suit.

I wore business casual in accordance with guideline in interview invitation. My interviewer quipped that applicants usually ignore the guideline of business casual for interviews.

Hi, Im on the same boat. R1 applicant placed on WL. Not heard anything from them yet. There is a Fuqua Talk chat event today specially for WL candidates. So hope to get some valuable info in that.

I believe all the on campus interviews are done by Second Year Admission Fellows (students). Good luck on your interview!

hi scorpionz

as per their website, all interview invites for r2 are to be sent out by feb 4. based on previous experience, if you havent got an invite yet, then chances of getting one now are very slim. most likely you are now on the WL or will be dinged. wait till the final decision deadline for the decision.
