as per their website, all interview invites for r2 are to be sent out by feb 4. based on previous experience, if you havent got an invite yet, then chances of getting one now are very slim. most likely you are now on the WL or will be dinged. wait till the final decision deadline for the decision.

I will have my interivew in New York on 27th this Sunday, which is not on campus interview. Does anybody know if it will be conducted by Alumni or Admission Committee? I read a lot of posts saying that on campus interviews were conducted by second year students but nobady mentions off campus interview.

I interviewed in Chicago in January for R1, and it was mostly recent alums conducting the interviews. There were some admissions people in the building, but I don't know if they were interviewing or just taking care of admin-type activities and greeting students.

The March 25th deadline does seem a bit far, especially the fact that most folks have already finished interviewing. But I guess that's just how it is....

Maybe the 3/25 decision date is a plan hatched by Fuqua admissions to allow applicants to watch March Madness, see Duke win another NCAA title, boast their brand, and woo us into matriculating. :-D

has anyone received any special reminders from any admission staff at fuqua for the interview?
my interview if tom and i received a reminder message...i am not sure if this is a standard procedure or not since i had decided to contact my interviewer to make sure everything was alright...

with duke, you can be sure that the decision will come exactly on the deadline. not a day earlier, nor a day late..

So to reiterate that, it means admitted students will not find out any scholarship information until they receive the acceptance package? What if someone calls the admissions office and ask about it?

in the admission email, you will get more info on the scholarship decision date. i think its 2 weeks after the admit. after that, i think you can ask them whether you got any schol or not...

I had my interview on Friday and it went well I think. The student was very informative and spoke a lot about the international aspect of the program and students which he really enjoyed. I also met a couple other prospective students who were really cool.

I'm not sure why but I was under the impression we receive status updates this Friday May 4th. I just double checked and realized its the 25th, but I could have sworn I read that some where. Does that date ring a bell for anyone else?

Is it possible to feel like an interview with Fuqua did not go well? I left thinking I'd nailed it and should be admitted, until I thought about it - everyone must have felt that way. The interview was so soft and the interviewer was so friendly that I'm not sure how they use the interview to make difficult decisions.

Do you know when Duke will provide the decision? My interviewer was saying I should get my result 2-3 weeks after the interview.

I just knew I bombed the hell out of it and there was no chance I would get in when I left. But I was admitted R1.
