I can't believe decisions are out! I'm IN!!!!!! This was my one and only app and I got the fee waived (alumni recommendation) and I'm so happy (and really, really stunned that decisions came out so early)!
Profile: 710 GMAT/F/26/3.5 GPA at top U.S. private undergrad/unique consulting and management position/very strong extracurriculars
Congrats! 710's holding strong! Same stunned reaction, what a great intro to the weekend. I'm still shaking.

Congrats, Kidd38s! I know, I'm still kind of dazed because I had mentally prepared myself to wait all weekend....kind of crazy! My husband and I will definitely have to celebrate tonight!
See you in Durham in August (or at Blue Devil Weekend)!!!!
CONGRATS TO EVERYONE THAT GOT IN!!! I'm really proud that this community seems to be so beneficial to so many applicants. Now go out and celebrate this weekend, your hard work has paid off.
Hoping to join you guys in R2.
Quick question, Duke seems to point out that its beneficial to apply early. Does that mean R2 is siginificantly frowned upon?

The word on the street is that after you click the "accept" link, it gives you a message saying "we are disappointed that you will not be joining us..."
According to the admissions office, they have a back end error. I hope Fuqua is not pulling a Kellogg this year.

I don't think R2 is frowned upon though I heard that supposedly there were no acceptances in R3 last year (just waitlists and few, if any, got off). I mean, if your application is at its strongest in R2 then it's to your benefit to apply when it's at its strongest as opposed to applying earlier if it isn't as strong. If it makes you feel better, I know several people accepted R2 last year for Fuqua. Good luck to you! Hope you'll join us soon!

This is true (about the erroneous message). I got it and freaked. I called the admissions office too to make sure they knew I was truly attending.
