does anyone know how soon they expect you to interview off site and when the last date for interviews are? since the admit date of Oct 29th is awfully close i assume they want to wrap up interviews asap in order to give adcom enough time to process all the interview reports. any insight would be much appreciated.

fyi, i was R2 applicant last year who was invited to interview and then WL till the end of summer.. really hoping for that glimmer of hope earlier this year. but def determined to get a spot this time around!

Duke doesn't do Adcom interviews period. On campus, it's second year MBA students. I assume the alumni will be similar to that - some mandatory questions (strengths, weaknesses, why MBA, why fuqua) and the rest conversational.

Don't worry much, adcom guy isn't gonna eat you for lunch.
Regardless, you may make an effort to reach out to them and inform that you are willing to travel a bit and meet their representative face to face for the interview. Trust, a little expenditure (little b'coz you won't be travelling to Durham, duh!) and time might go a long way towards your success.

Talk to some people at Fuqua , and if you are really a fit into the collaborative culture , you will see it immediately . It happened to me this way :)
