"We regret to inform you that you have not been invited to interview; please note that this is not a final decision on your application" - what does this mean?
Dinged totally or waitlisted?

After the interviews for EA are over , they will reconsider your application depending on the results .

Not invited. I guess it's over then :(.

alwaysudit, what's your profile if you don't mind me asking?
WE : Marine Engineer, 7 years by time of matriculation
Global Experience : Yes
Undergraduate Institute : Top tier in marine engg
GMAT 730( Q49, V40)

Razordude, don't lose hope , it is all a probability game , more schools you apply to , the probabilities add up and increase your chances. My best wishes for the rest of the application season .

Hmm... I guess so. Was really looking forward to this though. I guess my work experience hurt me. The quantity I mean - 3 years at matriculation.

You can't say that with surety. There are many dimensions to your applications. Essays+Recs (Don't think your GMAT is an issue at all :-D ). Keep your chin up though. Lots of other universities are still pending. And, they all don't think in the same way!!!

I was extremely worried about this as well, since I would have 2 years at matriculation but I think I managed to show that quality > quantity in my case... plus Fuqua was absolutely my number one choice. It's not over yet though, so don't get disheartened! All the best to you.

Nothing extraordinary really. Pretty good acads and position in student government during undergrad. Been working for a startup for the past 14 months (not a particularly well known one). I also founded my own startup which I run currently. That's about it.

Sorry to hear that Mayank.
If you are applying to more schools, run one application through us, if we can help you spot some obvious fault lines.

Razordude if it doesn't work out for you by some chance, feel free to do the same.

Don't give up yet. If your profile on the side is accurate, I imagine they would at the least keep you on the waitlist with a 750 and 4.0, and re-evaluate with R1. You don't know what the EA pool looked it, maybe it was particularly strong.

Any tips that you wouldn't have thought of before visiting? I'll be there tomorrow and want to make sure I don't miss anything important.

just got the invite on the portal as well. asia based reapplicant. best of luck to everyone!

does anyone know how soon they expect you to interview off site and when the last date for interviews are? since the admit date of Oct 29th is awfully close i assume they want to wrap up interviews asap in order to give adcom enough time to process all the interview reports. any insight would be much appreciated.

fyi, i was R2 applicant last year who was invited to interview and then WL till the end of summer.. really hoping for that glimmer of hope earlier this year. but def determined to get a spot this time around!
