Once you have the invite is it a good idea to schedule your interview earlier than later? I want to give myself as much time as possible but I'm not sure if interviewing at a later date can hurt my chances of admission. Do they review the interview notes after all the interviews are done or they decide on admissions as interviews are conducted?
I would presume that they take call on the final list of acceptance post the reception of all interviews. They donot follow a rolling admission process and release their decisions on a specific date. That leaves little room to assume that they would decide as and when they receive individual feedback on the interviews.
So you're saying someone who interviews on 20th Nov has no advantage over someone who interviews on 30th Nov? I would like to delay as much as possible and give the interview my best shot. But I'm not sure how does buying more time looks to the interviewer and the admission committee.
As i said, i doubt there would be any substantial advantage that applicants who interview early would get, presuming you are within the range. Of course, if most interviews are conducted within the next 15 days and one delays it substantially, say to the 1st week of december, then who knows, it may have a different result. I think week or week and a half post the invitation should not make a difference. Perhaps someone who has been through the process, likely in ED, would clarify further.
