Hi Everyone,
Greetings!
I had applied to the Full-Time MBA Program at ESADE in the
R3 Deadline (11th Jan 2022). I had my interview with Ms Ursi Van Der Herten. It was a pleasant and conversational experience. She told me that the Admissions Committee would meet this Thursday
(17th Feb 2022), and I would get to hear my result on Monday
(21st Feb 2022). However, she told me that in addition to 'Acception' and 'Rejection', there is also a status of 'Waitlisted' which may be given to a candidate. She also told me that ESADE takes around 20-22 Indian candidates every year. This year, there has been a rise in the number of Indian applicants; around 15-17 Indian candidates have already been enrolled on the program.
I wish to kindly check with other applicants whom Ursi has interviewed if this information about the 'Waitlisted' status shared with every candidate that she interviews or is this an indirect way of her telling me what I should be expecting?
I am eagerly awaiting your responses!
Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Kakria
Thanks for providing all the detail. ESADE put a lot of Indian candidates on the waitlist. However, you can see from this thread that 14 Indians already got an offer, and most of them already accepted the offer. I was on the waitlist last year, and I can say from my personal experience that it is very painful being on the waitlist. Since the decision on your application has not come yet, let us hope for the best.
