That is awesome! I was considering the Broad Residency as well. I'm definitely taking all my 5 courses that we are allowed to take outside of Stern at Steinhardt. I know absolutely nothing about education other than my viewpoint from the eyes of someone who went to public school all my life. I want to spend the next few years learning everything I can. I'm uber excited!
We MUST discuss these things at OP becuase this isn't the thread for it lol
Hey, wait a minute, Education Reform and profit may one day be synonymous, so perhaps this is the right place and time to broach it. Charter Management Organizations, (some are for profit) are the wave of the future and I may try to intensify this crescendo at Darden's Education club. If CMO's can be proven to deliver results at scale (currently being studied by Mathematica), and if the school districts keep having the problems that we are witnessing in recent times (see Wisconsin and Rhode Island), then a lot more than just the 3 of us is going to be paying attention to this $500 Billion (yes, that's a B) enterprise that is public education.
Where there's this much money, there's opportunity for innovation & profit.
