Ok guys, I got an email from the director of the supply chain management program at Madison. She basically wants me to apply to the school(I'm guessing for next year) Now, I'm scared because I'm thinking that maybe she was at the Consortium's meeting and already knows my fate

Weird. Ask her your fate. I would. In a polite way of course.
I'm not sure it's for marketing. Madison is part of the Consortium and this was the second email I'd ever receive from the school. Maybe my nerves are finally getting to me..lol
Any Kelley Consortium Peeps? Got an email from Brad Rosenwinkel about my admission packet coming in and also information about my consortium membership&fellowship being mailed to me on the 15th. Does that mean I got some sort of $$ from Consortium? Kelley didn't make calls, we just got an email. Any info to shine some light on this would be great.

I feel like if they have the gumption to call and have that conversation with you, it's 100% okay for you to call back and inquire further about their intentions. It's your fate... they can find other candidates. If they're not explicitly honest with you or you think they're being vague then I think you should read into it a bit.
I think it's fine to hold schools accountable for anything they send out. They read into everything we send them so the same should be done for them.
Money, since you are advising me to do the same thing as Lagomez had suggested, I'm now considering it. Hopefully, the answer will put my mind at rest

I'm sure she'll understand your reasoning. I think it's completely valid. If you're going to send me an email multiple times saying that I should apply. If I inquire further about why you're saying that I expect to get a straight-forward answer. Who knows you could be reading into it incorrectly as well... but it's potentially a $150,000 decision so I think it's important that you find out. (then let us all know

I got that email as well. Kelley has called people about fellowships. Them saying that consortium fellowship info will come from the consortium in the mail is just standard language all schools say. NYU said the same thing but I know they called people about fellowships also.
NYU peeps...Check your mail. I went home to check my mail at lunch time and got the "Letter." Didn't get the fellowship, only got a partial scholarship but I'm still in play for #2. Holding out hope that they will hit me with the $$$.
procedure could vary from year to year. A friend of mine got a fellowship to nyu last year and I am pretty sure he got a call regarding fellowship at the same time he got the call regarding admittance.
however, since people can turn down fellowships, perhaps it's still possible to get a fellowship once declined fellowships are ready to be redistribuited?
