They might change protocol from what they did last year. However, if you look at last year's thread, they won't let me post urls so search tuck calling all 2010 and it should pop up (go to page 9), Tuck posts everything on the same day but make phone calls a few days before to accepted applicants.

I would not be so concerned if it is Wed 15th or Fri 17th. When we have waited for good part of 8 weeks I am sure 2 more days either way is not too much of an ask!!

Question about student housing.
Tuck offers housing to first year student. I am planning my budget now, and was wondering how much approximately I should spend on rent. If anyone has any insights, please share it!

So it says $11.550 for first years, which is roghly 1.300 $/month (9 month lease) or 960 $/month (12 month lease), I feel the later number to be more on line with which I have heard.

I remember Sachem houses to be 1.200 - 1.300 $/month (this is New Sachem). Sachem houses are very nice for a young couple and really add a lot to the community feeling from my point of view...

Hey all, on the online application, the section on international experience asks the question:

"Briefly describe any experiences you have working, studying, living, or traveling outside your home county. Include the location, purpose, and length of stay. If relevant, reflect on how these experiences have shaped your world view. (Limit 250 words)"

if you have no recent (ie, relevant experience abroad) how would you address this question? my only travel abroad was a trip in highschool - so I've never been abroad for work, even though i interact with alot of people overseas on a daily basis for work. Thoughts?

The question doesn't state "recent". The question does state "any", including non-work travel. I wouldn't mention that you work with people overseas unless there is some connection between the two.
Hi all, I know this is kinda from a while ago, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight on what they wrote for this part of the app or how they tackled it?

Hi guys, I Applied on the Early Round. I'm an international Re-Applicant from LatAm. On my feedback session I was told that I should reapply when I increase my GMAT Quant which I did, from 35 to 47... I was also told that my interview went very good and that I should not consider a new interview...

Can anyone tell me how does Tuck sees reapplicants? How is the acceptance % for reapplicants?

I gues I should just wait and see...

Good luck to everyone!

I believe so :?

Why? I'm confused. I thought the consensus was adcom notifies everyone on Dec 17th, maybe with some calls to admitted applicants a few days prior. What should/could we have heard by now?

ADCOM tipically needs 2 weeks to make final decisions: review all material from interviewed applicants in order to decide. In such way, Tuck will be evaluating the profiles in the next two weeks to release decisions on the 17th.
If you haven't heard anything by now, I would consider that a ding.

During my interview, the interviewer shared with me that after all interviews have been made, all members from ADCOM gather in Hanover to evaluate everyone (now with the interview report) in order to make decisions. this takes about 2 weeks.

interesting info.. So what do they do before interviews: preliminary screening of applicants, choosing to whom to offer interview invite?!

P.S. There were stories (urban legeneds?!) about Tuck admits who had no interview at all.
