I sent an email to the Tuck representative in Latin America asking about the release. She answered this:

"I think you may need to wait a bit longer. The applications were up significantly for Early Action, so it has taken more time to get through the applications this round."

Then I asked again:

"But when you say that I'll have to wait a bit longer, do you mean after December 17th or until the final deadline?"

And she answered:

"Everyone will hear before December 17th, so hopefully people will hear earlier."

Ugh. With the carry over from last year and the increase in EA applicants, I really hate being in the Nov. round. By the Nov. round will half the slots in the class be filled?

It depends on what percentage of the class they admit from each round in a "typical" year. I don't see why they would want to fill 50% of the class out of carry over and EA. I have heard from admissions that the carry over from last year won't affect this year's admits. I know that's hard to believe, but I also don't know how many people they expect to carry over.

A current student mentioned to me the deferral list, for the most part, cleared and what is above is correct.

While the class of 2012 is larger than previous classes, the program expects to back to it's typical size for next year.

I read somewhere that 14 students have deferred from last year, but that should not affect this year's intake. May be slightly larger group for 2013 too.

just two more weeks now, folks, just two more weeks. And chances are, admitted students would hear back starting the week of the 13th. I'm honestly believing that I'd be seeing a ding from Tuck, though I'm still quite anxious to see the result. If I can put my sanity on a scale, I've probably lost 90% of it already in December....and the month just started...

How are all the EA applicants doing? How are the spirits?

With only a little over a week left, how is time passing for you all? Unfortunately for me, work is slowing down for the holiday season so that means more time for me to think of creative admissions thoughts.

Same here. My work is now getting slower (partly because I want to push it to 2011  )

I'm so familiar with the sound of a 'ding' that I'm a bit scared for next week. I really do hope that I hear something positive back. But currently, my head has been filled with the notion that I'm going to get another 'ding' here :?

Deferrals were closer to 50.

I know I am being over optimistic :bouncer But are there past instances of international applicants getting admitted without interview?
