I got it too....I really hope it was just a general email and not hinting at rejection for those of us not getting called.

I think it is a generic email to all applicants.
I got it in R2 last year (cycle) exactly a week before the decision date.

2 am in the morning, i woke up and i see this message - "Tuck Decisions available Online at 5 pm EST"... was wondering for a some time what was happening until adrenalin kicked in to register the date December 17...

I got the mail too. Last thing on Friday eve for Adcom. Looks like the class has been "crafted" and we should start hearing from Ad Com next week.

Looking at last year's thread, there is no corelation between getting such a mail and being admitted/dinged/wait listed...

I must admit though after the glory with Said today.. I was excited for a mo...thinking must be my lucky day today .. :oops:

Anyways.. good luck to us all...

Just got an email from them w/subject line "December 17/Tuck Admission Decisions Available Online at 5:00PM EST."

Dear XX,

Thank you for your interest in the Tuck School of Business. As an applicant in our Early Action round, your admission decision will be available online at 5:00PM EST on December 17. Log on to your Tuck application and then click on the "Your application decision is now available online" link which will be located at the bottom of the page.

Guessing it means AdCom is done deliberating. Not sure if the timing of the email means anything...did everyone get this?

yes, just got this mail.
i had my heart in my mouth for a minute after i read it. logged in to GC immediately to check whether others had recd the same email, or only the dinged candidates!
feeling relieved now. phew!
