Fellow consortiumers (is that a term?):
I completed what is likely my final MBA interview last week, at Ross. Wanted to give my experience as I know the official consortium day is coming up. Arrived at Ross about 20 minutes before the interview. It was cold and snowing, which I don't mind and is representative of what Ann Arbor would be like if I were fortunate enough to be admitted.
Met with a 2nd year student who transitioned into the field that I want to get into. He gave great insight as to his experience and how Ross has really helped him out. To the best of my recollection, the interview went something like this:
Tell me about yourself?
Why an MBA?
Why Ross?
5 years from now, what would you want your classmates to say about you and your time here?
Tell me about a time you didn't get what you wanted and how did you deal with that?
How would you go about motivating a team member who wasn't as enthusiastic about a project?
And then there was some time for questions. Received a lot of helpful information from the 2nd year at this time.
If possible, I now want to go to Ross more than I did before. Now the waiting begins and free time opens up, which gives me time to make plans for life. Hopefully that includes Ross.
Best of luck this weekend!
