Hey Y'all. Time for an old-fashioned poll! All you have to do is add ONE simple response... and if you want a BRIEF explanation (two way ties will be accepted). Please quote the question in this post in your response so I can tally the votes at the end...

Here we go...

Which Consortium School's Students have been the MOST responsive to your questions?

So far I have Johnson in front with 3 votes. Yale, Tepper, Olin and Marshall each with one.

Anyone else wanna vote?

Posted from my mobile device

Amara Aigbedion at Haas has been very helpful, and the other Consortium ambassadors there have offers to help.

I got the check status email at 3AM PT from Anderson (having not slept knowing the decision was coming today). I'm usually a pretty calm guy, but my hands were trembling so hard that it took me 3 attempts to log-in. Everything I went through to get to that point - missing work to visit schools, staying up late to study for the GMAT and write essays, (foolishly) telling everyone who I'm close to that Anderson was my first choice, etc. - flashed through my mind. The next two clicks to get to the decision were the longest and most ominous clicks of my life. And all that tension for naught - Anderson 2014!

I was in the same exact situation, except for it was 6am for me in the west coast and I was just waking up. See you in this fall!

Congrats teq! Does this mean you're going to Anderson? That's awesome!!!

Folks who have been getting admits lately... I couldn't be happier for you all! I'm hoping everyone on the forum gets into at least one school of their choice. Rock on Consortium!

@Suchdaddy, interview off campus with an alum here in Boston. Was extremely laid back, he actually printed out the email that was sent to him by the adcom with instructions on what to evaluate (leadership, goals, etc.). He basically said to have a look so we could just chat and I could tailor the conversation to some of things that that adcom was looking for. I think he may have asked me one direct question and it was along the lines of "what is your biggest weakness?" I was even able to tell him that I was exploring multiple options in b-school and he absolutely understood. All this being said, I am not confident that not all interview experiences played out in a similar fashion. Hope this helps.

Ross. They've done a great job at having students and admissions reach out and answer questions.

I need to throw one in for Emory. I received a text from a student inviting me on a tour and then days later she sent me another text asking about my interview and if she could be of any help moving forward.... Seems to be only a few schools dominating or the usual suspects of this forum are all hovering around and communicating the same schools.

Throw another one in for Johnson, the responses from alums via their alumni portal have been timely and extremely helpful.

We're going to do an alumni poll here soon. So I'll bank this one. I'm actually trying to figure out a more sophisticated way to add a poll. If someone wants to figure it out though... by all means. And in terms of alumni engagement we may have to fight over this one btsl84 :-D ... I've found Tuck alumni to be off the charts in terms of their responsiveness.

Congrats Capital!! I'm sure that email released more knots out of your neck than a spa package. Good Luck staying productive at work!

Where you RD1 or RD2? And did UCLA send you log-on info before your decision?
Thanks Suchdaddy! I was RD1 and I got my log-in info with my interview invite.

I interviewed on campus with a 2nd year student. The interview was relaxed - it turned out we had a few mutual friends, so the conversation went smoothly. He asked fairly standard questions: walk me through your resume, why an MBA, why Anderson, tell me one time you failed and what you learned from it. I felt encouraged afterwards, but it didn't make the wait for a decision any more bearable, unfortunately.

The people I met or got in touch with at Haas have kept up with me since I visited in October. UCLA students were great when I visited but my email responses have been lackluster.

For me it was Ross. When I called students they were very helpful. Right before Christmas I got a random email from a current student offering to answer any questions I had.

Wait, do I get to vote?
