Less than two weeks to go now everyone! I hope everybody is dealing with the anxiety better than I am :| :)

Does anyone know if there's anything one could to in order to be proactive from a financial aid point of view?

Not that I want to jump the gun or take anything for granted (I'm peppering my excitement about potentially getting in with just as many thoughts about getting that "we regret to inform you..." message), but *IF* my application is successful I want to try get the ball rolling from a financial aid perspective asap after the decision since I've got a pretty small window to commit to a significant scholarship offer from another school.

Do you know if there's anything I could start preparing now? I wanted to reach out to fin aid office but I see they've specified that they're there to help only once you've received an admissions offer.

I have not thought too much about financial aid yet. Still too anxious about the final decision. How did everybody’s interview go? Mine was a rapid fire blur of almost 25+ questions in 30 minutes covering basically my whole resume. Right after my interview, I felt pretty good with my general performance though I remember thinking I didn’t answer a couple of questions too well. I think I had a good rapport with my interviewer and even received some positive verbal feedback.

But in the days since, I have been replaying the interview in my head and not sure if I answered everything as comprehensively as I could have. Anybody else feeling this way? I am just ready to know my fate soon haha!

Waitlisted candidate from round 1 here. I feel you so much on that one homie. Not a day goes by since November 5th do I not replay the interview in my head, question by question, trying to make sense how I could have done better and avoided to be waitlisted. Overall interview went well but there's always something you can do better.

Hi cap,

Thank you for the insight! I plan to apply for class 2022, it will be so much helpful

I have three questions, when you stated, they asked you about current events? What does it mean?
Secondly, when they asked about which companies you are following, are they intention to specifically topic or did they ask you just why you like those companies?

Third: how much time did the interview took?

Thank you

Alice Rodriguez

The experience was an absolute blur, but the interviewer kept the conversation very casual and made me feel comfortable. Having said that, you need to be ready and totally focused. The questions and follow up questions come quick, and you should provide thoughtful and concise questions to each to keep the energy of the interview up. Flow of the interview was as follows:

Walked through resume from undergraduate experience to present. Random follow ups on personal interests and current events.

Undergrad leadership experience
Why undergrad major?
Why job/company selected out of undergrad?
Challenges, achievements in first job. Follow ups
Challenges, achievements in second job. Follow ups
Current assignment - how has responsibility increased? (I have worked for same company for 5 years, so the whole interview was showing how I've developed and taken advantage of opportunities in development program)
Saw one of my interests in resume, asked why I enjoy it and asked me to expand (learning more about personal side)
Asked where I learn about current events. What am I interested in in my own industry and other industries? What companies am I following, etc.

Hahaha you're definitely not the only one going through that. I have some days when I feel super confident and others when I'm convinced I completely blew it. I replay some of the answers I gave and I cringe. I think it's completely natural and most people experience something similar. I think your mind really focuses on the things you feel you could've done better and it's so easy to forget about all the strong and confident answers you gave.

I know it's easier said than done, but we just have to try forget about it since there's nothing we can change now. Did our best and now we wait.

What I'm curious about is the fact that there may be a further Waitlist beyond 26th March, consisting of some R1 WL candidates and R2 candidates - since there's no R3 then why is there a need for a waitlist? Is it merely to account for some of the admitted people from R2 who decline?

I thought they'd call you if you're admitted. Do they call after the decisions are posted?
