Indian, overrepresented, computer science - work exp of 7.5 years with major projects and promotions + gmat score of 750, decent college exp - college fest organiser, dramatics, debates all that shenanigan -> how are my chance for HBS, I mean should i even apply or it’s not worth trying?
Tough odds but the stats are good to go. (10 point jump would help but won’t ascertain the admission- Most Indians in top 5 schools have a 760). And everything Eria Olson said is right. I prefer to call it- the leading to this point and beyond to lead your preferred goals narrative.

Beyond top 25 for sure- if you are an Indian Male Engineer/overrepresented. If US minority, take up top 10 too, there are still odds. If anything other than those two, look up schools profiles and stay slightly above their class average of 2019 not 2020 (Big difference) and you’ll be good to go. That should be good enough based on statistics

Exceptions are there but again, if you are from an over representative pool- you need that no matter what others say
Agreed!
