Thanks Prudhviraju

I agree that we shouldn’t be worried about the visa appointments at this point in time.

Hi, Just wanted to confirm, at the time of submission of my application I uploaded my unofficial GMAT score. Is it mandatory for me to send my official GMAT score as well?

I just checked the direct to director blog - looks like Chad Losee has resigned! I wonder if this will effect R1 interview timelines?

I see the following on their website "–GMAT/GRE
When submitting your application, you may report the unofficial GMAT or GRE score given on the day of the test for tests taken at GMAT or GRE testing centers, or your official score if you have received it. Every applicant must request that Pearson (for the GMAT) or ETS (for the GRE) send an official score report directly to HBS."

At the time of submitting the application it should be ok to report unofficial scores but you have to send in the official scores soon.

Hi, I’m planning to take my gmat in Jan 4 , 2023 as there are no December dates available at the gmat test centre. The round 2 deadline is in Jan 4, 2023. Will I have any problems in submitting the GMAT score? Please advise on how to proceed. Thanks.

You have to enter your GMAT score to submit the application. Does your test time fall before the application submission deadline time?

I think Yes. Check the following "Every applicant must request that Pearson (for the GMAT) or ETS (for the GRE) send an official score report directly to HBS"

It says every applicant not those who get an admission etc

So, I think you have to send in your official scores to HBS.

Hello! I'm Kaneisha Grayson, and I wanted to let you know about my company. I'm the founder & CEO of The Art of Applying. I'm a Harvard Business School MBA, Harvard Kennedy School MPA, and a Center for Public Leadership Fellow. I also graduated from HBS with Second-Year Honors (in case that matters to you). :)

I did the HBS/HKS business and policy joint degree way back when it was called KSG (versus HKS), and you could do a Harvard MBA/MPA (versus the current Harvard MBA/MPP). I was also in the first class of college senior deferred admits who voted to rename it to the HBS 2+2 program!

I started The Art of Applying in 2010 during my last year at Harvard. Since then, my team and I have helped 1000+ paying clients get into top business schools, policy schools, and joint degree programs.

Out of the 1000+ paying clients we've had so far, I'd say at least 600 of them have been joint degree applicants, and at least 400 of them have been Harvard Kennedy School applicants in particular when it comes to the policy school part of the joint degree. We help with joint degree applications to other top policy schools like Columbia SIPA and Chicago Harris, but the interest in HKS is highest.

Among our clients are many folks who we helped get full scholarships to Harvard Kennedy School and other top policy schools, two Stanford Knight-Hennessy Scholars (and counting!), an applicant we helped get into HBS with a 650 GMAT, and another applicant that we helped get into HBS with a 2.8 GPA. Of course those last two clients I mentioned are outliers, and most of our HBS admits have strong stats, but I love to share those success stories!

You can watch video testimonials of our clients for business school, policy school, and joint MBA/MPP degrees on our Youtube channel which is the same name as the business: The Art of Applying

My team would love to have a free consultation with you to see if working together might be a good fit. We start with a free 15-minute Quick Call. You can come to our website to learn more, and sign up for the free 15-minute Quick Call.

Even if you decide not to work with us, we have 200+ blog posts on our site that are widely read and used by applicants who either can't afford our services or are DIY applicants. You can use the search function on our site to search phrases such as joint degree, dual degree, HKS, Harvard Kennedy School, MBA/MPP, MPP/MBA, etc. to find helpful content.

If you do use our content and get great results, please reach out and let us know! Our team celebrates those DIY applicant success stories open-heartedly, and we know that not everyone who reads our advice and watches our Youtube case studies and Q&A videos will turn into paying clients.

Best of luck with your search for the right admissions consultant!
