Hi has anyone given the IE GAT?
Yes, it consists of 5 sections
Each have an example question before you begin the section.
It takes nearly 8-15 mins for each section.
- an email priority task where you have a long list of emails, you have to read each email and assign them priority or reply with a predefined content. The guidelines are always visible in a pop-up menu.
- A statistic task where you have tables and charts in 5-7 different tabs. They stay consistent throughout and within the assigned time you have to answer as many as questions as you can
- Reading comprehension task consist of a similar 7-8 tabs of data with labels. You habe to answer as many as you can in the given time.
- Logical thinking task has patterns and process. It gives you an image, you have to apply certain process over it (turning image or assiging number to image) and judge the output that best suits the problem
- Odd one out task has a series of images (set of 9 i think), you just have to select the odd one out.
Overall it was quite easy if you have prepared for GMAT or GRE, just make aure you try to answer as many as you can! There is no negative marks.
