I’ve 655 GMAT FE-
4 yr Work Ex-
Role - IT/Data Engineer
Industry - ITES, Oil and Gas
My current role is a blend or a developer as well as a manager, while I develop ETL pipelines for data ingestion & visualization, I also lead cross-functional discussions with different teams such as Infosec, etc to develop solutions with organizational objectives. Additionally, I mentor junior team members. I interact with business users directly to understand their requirement and discuss the challenges and workarounds or possible solution for them.

I’m an volunteer in social activities organized by ngo s and spiritual and humanitarian organizations.
I’ve attended Military training for 1 month after my high school, participated in clubs during ug, had different roles.

I want to apply for IIMA PGPX, but have seen an average 8 yrs work ex in current cohort, also the R3 application fees is 10k

Hence want another opinion on should I proceed or not.
I have asked few ISB, IIMB alums they did suggest to apply, but still want additional inputs..

Although the profile and scores are decent, other than your application quality, getting an admit in R3 would also depend on the cohort profile already selected during R1 and R2. If the application fees isn’t a major constraint, I would recommend you to still apply in R3. Worst case if you don’t get selected this year, you will have some experience of the process which will help next year. Unfortunately for you, this year a lot of ppl with IT and tech background are already selected to the program.

At the outset, yours look like an IT background. The problem is that the initial shortlist depends on your type of work, and scores.

Unfortunately for you, this year a lot of ppl with IT and tech background are already selected to the program.

Did anyone get scholarship from iima for the pgpx

I did not click the checkmark, when asked do you need entry scholarship in the form.

I saw that I was not fitting in to the entry scholarship criteria.

Does that mean I’m automatically rejected from all scholarships?
