Hi abhi90962,

Great to see your consistent experience, including international exposure, complemented by a strong academic background.

One area you might consider enhancing further is your GRE score; if you Are open to it, giving it another attempt could strengthen your profile even more.

All the best!

abhi90962 I think this is still a bit too little information to give you meaningful guidance. You do have good variety in your exposure, but most of it seems to be within the government/public sector. The big question for the adcoms will be how this experience translates into the roles and industries you are targeting post-MBA. I would strongly suggest you spend time thinking this through for your Oxford interview, because post-MBA employability tends to be a key focus area in Saïd interviews.

Feel free to speak should you want to discuss your case

Best wishes

+1

I see invites have started coming. People are posting on reddit

Does anyone know what is the 17th April date then? Is it the last day by which you should receive an invite else you are rejected?

GMAT or GRE?

Which is the best option for MBA at M7 specially HSW? Also at ISB and IIMA PGPX?

Do they prefer GMAT For scholarships and hiring placements? Or it’s just a myth right now?

Hello Aanchal Ma'am,

Need profile evaluation - I gave my GMAT after almost 7 months of prep and scored around 565 in my second attempt, I'm open to both MBA and MiM Programme and was thinking if I stand a chance in getting accepted into the MiM program at INSEAD.
For my background - I have 2 years of work ex in an IB company as a Senior Analyst w a CGPA of 8.02/10 and my extra-circulars seems to be decent.

@ WA@ced6160 Hey, not being able to arrange funds is a very valid reason and one that INSEAD school will look upon with understanding. If you are currently in this boat, make sure to first have this communicated clearly to the adcom, that the reason for not accepting is financial constraint, in which case the school may try to support you with some additional resources, be it additional funding or connecting you with potential scholarship sources/donors. If you apply again, the evaluation procedure would be fair, and the additional time period since your last application would also be considered in terms of growth/improvement in the profile. Whether you get through again or not will depend on the competitiveness of the new applicant pool as well. To maximise your chances for a scholarship the next time, try to apply early.

Best wishes

Has anyone applied to INSEAD next year after being accepted and not going because of not being able to manage funding? How does this impact your admissions? Is it generally granted again or not?

BlackHat098 Hey

Your score is low. Please see if you could perform better after switching to GRE. Or try to get professional help for test preparation instead of losing time. Read this
Your work experience sounds good but it is on the higher side for the MiM program. Feel free to speak directly so I can understand your work experience better and advise.
