what if I write on behalf of them but I keep it as facts and based on what feedback they gave to me, since it is the one that they asked for (they have no time to write it by themself)?

These are the questions in the LoR.

1. Comment on the candidate's career progress to date and his/her career focus.
2. What do you consider to be the candidate's major strengths? Comment on the factors that distinguish the candidate from other individuals at his/her level.
3. What do you consider to be the candidate's major areas for development/improvement?
4. Comment on the candidate's potential for senior management. Do you see him/her as a future leader?
5. Describe the candidate as a person. Comment on his/her ability to establish and maintain relationships, sensitivity to others, self-confidence, attitude, etc. Specifically comment on the candidate's behaviour or skills in a group setting/team environment.

They haven't changed in many years.

One important point, though: your recommenders should ideally write the LoRs themselves. You can certainly help them by discussing examples and reminding them of relevant experiences, but the answers should be in their own voice. If you do draft the LoRs yourself, make sure your recommenders then rewrite them in their own words.

This is not unusual and won't hurt your application. Your recommender can explain his current situation in the first question of the LoR, where he's asked about his relationship with you. I would also briefly explain it in the optional essay to make sure there is no confusion.

Hi All, I planned to ask for LOR to my current manager.

However he left the org last month and is on a career break.

He will not be able to refer me using a professional mail ID, does this hurt my application?

aditya1818 INSEAD has anyways been open to considering multiple attempts, and if the profile overall is a great fit for the school, the school readily accepts the best of the sectional performances across attempts. INSEAD is pretty particular about quantitative performance for demographics that generally have a higher average on the quant sections. Try to aim for higher than the 85th percentile, or closer to the 90th percentile, if you come from a crowded pool and there isn't typically much analytical rigor in your past work history. Finance folks have it slightly easier because, if the quant rigor is there in proof of work, they can get by with low GMAT scores as well. One of my mentees from within this pool got in with a 645 in the last cycle. Happy to answer any followup questions

Best wishes
