These are the questions in the LoR.

1. Comment on the candidate's career progress to date and his/her career focus.
2. What do you consider to be the candidate's major strengths? Comment on the factors that distinguish the candidate from other individuals at his/her level.
3. What do you consider to be the candidate's major areas for development/improvement?
4. Comment on the candidate's potential for senior management. Do you see him/her as a future leader?
5. Describe the candidate as a person. Comment on his/her ability to establish and maintain relationships, sensitivity to others, self-confidence, attitude, etc. Specifically comment on the candidate's behaviour or skills in a group setting/team environment.

They haven't changed in many years.

One important point, though: your recommenders should ideally write the LoRs themselves. You can certainly help them by discussing examples and reminding them of relevant experiences, but the answers should be in their own voice. If you do draft the LoRs yourself, make sure your recommenders then rewrite them in their own words.

Alasoy
hi all, do you have any information regarding what kind of exact questions will be asked to the recommender? as my recommender ask me to draft it for me before they review and submit it

Academic background:
1. ACCA affiliate (to become member within the next week)
2. Had a CGPA of 8.2, did B.Com Honours from a tier 1 college in chennai and graduated with a silver medal (first class with distinction)
3. Scored 97.4% in my 12th grade and was recognised by CBSE as the top 1% in accountancy subject.

Work experience:
1. I worked in Deloitte for a total of 3 years. Started as an intern, got promoted to senior analyst within 3 months (skipping analyst level) and later consultant within 1.5 years. I primarily worked in Internal Audit and process reviews. I handled clients across industries and markets. Have experience working with clients across Europe and Middle East. I also was involved in assisting my directors and partners in bringing in new clients.
2. I have done around 4-5 internships otherwise to understand my interests and likes during college.

GMAT:
I aim to get a 705+. My last mock was a 595. Planning to study further and take another mock within 2 weeks. Would also like advice on whether to apply for R1 or R2
1. you should apply when you are ready with a strong application+ your target GMAT score. It seems like R1 will be difficult as you are still to take your GMAT and may not have worked on your application yet- INSEAD application is very long, just as a word of caution.
2. Your work experience + undergrad marks are good,
In the case of INSEAD application specifically what helps is showing international experience, career progression, intense self awareness and clarity in career goals(essays are geared towards understanding that). While your profile looks good, you will need to make sure you come as a strong applicant on each of these criteria. even if you do not travel abroad on work, you will need to show your international orientation, ability to work in global teams and your cultural adaptability.
Be sure to mine the write stories to show these elements in your application.
Reach out with your resume if you need a deeper profile evaluation.

Hi everyone,

I’m preparing my INSEAD MiM application and am currently working with my academic and professional recommenders. They have asked me to provide some preliminary guidance and key points.

Does anyone know any reliable resources, sample structures, or advice on what INSEAD values in a strong MiM recommendation letter? Any insights from previous applicants would be greatly appreciated.

Have also not heard back yet - hopefully they will not wait until end of the week (i.e., 28th), but probably they will. How about you?
