WLs will be high since there are deferrals expected, especially with the rise in cases now.

Waitlist in R2 is almost a reject since waitlist in R1 hasn’t moved

how is this helpful for people still working. which company will agree to a notice period of 20 days?

True. But I guess if the reason is higher education, company might agree for a shorter notice period.
