I’m really not sure what happened here. Sure it wasn’t the best interview in the world but it certainly wasn’t bad. We had a great conversation about the role of ml models and cloud architecture

Apart from that, several people gave me great feedback on the essays and profile in general

In any case, isb is not the end of the world. I’ll apply to spjimr ans bitsom as well

I’m fairly confident I can get a 780 and wait a few years to go abroad as well

Life moves along and so on and so forth. I’m sure I’ll look back at this failure in a few years with a smile

If I have one regret, it’s that I was married to the idea of EEO at isb. I had already planned out what I’d do next year if I got the admit. I gained weight, dropped my chess practice, didn’t take opportunities at work, etc. Let go or be dragged they say. Lesson learnt!

Don’t regret coz at that time you did what you thought was best for you. Consider it an investment in knowing yourself.

Help me with this, what’s the difference between Mohali and hydrabad Campus and how is are the opportunities/ sessions/ seminars impacted in Mohali?

Hi Sakal,
There is not much difference at all. Only the campus is bigger in Hyd and Mohali is more modern. As of placements, they take place in one campus only and ISB will bear the cost of student commutation. The professors are also same. They keep travelling for seminars. If any important guest lecturer, all students will be brought to one campus.
