In my opinion, WHAT you’ve done matters more than WHERE you do it.
ISB, in particular, will not discriminate against you if you’re from a start-up. The kind of initiatives and projects you’ve worked on would matter.more.
There has been an upsurge of startups offf late and ISB gets more and more apps from startup folks every year.
You shouldn’t think you’re starting on the backfoot because of that.

Totally agree with MananS4G here. I had a similar question come my way yesterday. I don’t think you’d be at a massive disadvantage here. I have seem people having small startup experience make the cut. The adcom would most likely focus on what you did, how it impacted your workspace and how you plan on bringing those skillsets to help yourself and your ISB cohort.

I believe there is no such preference. What matters more is the quality of your work-ex. And you have to flesh that out in the essays. That is what sets you apart.
