Will my chances of securing admission reduce if I apply in round 2 instead of round 1?

Hi all wanted to know my chances of getting in to ISB. GMAT 700, GPA 3.01, 3 years work ex in supply chain and logistics domain
4 roles / 3 promotions within the same company and I’m currently a business analyst. Professional musician and ride in a motorcycle club. I’ve featured in multiple magazines and have singles and an album to my name

Overall it seems quite fine from all quantitative aspects. Don’t see any red flags.
Key challenge for you will be to bring out your career goals clearly and align them with what ISB can offer you, alongside presenting a clear picture of who you are and what you bring to the table.
If you do these well, will be quite surprised if you don’t get an interview call.

Hi, just joined this group. I plan to apply to ISB this year. I have 3 years of work ex and I’ve worked in 2 startups. Just wanted to know if there is a preference that ISB has for students coming from bigger MNCs vs startup background?
No such preference. We have worked with multiple candidates from similar backgrounds (all startup exp) who glided into ISB :)

Cool thanks! I’m still debating between attempting ISB or sticking with my INSEAD admit 😅 will work on this. Thanks!

Yeah just keeping in mind how Europe’s market is right now and also want to personally be closer to my family rather than a flight trip that takes roughly 10-12 hours, I’m probably just weighing out the pros and cons

But I’m definitely locking in with INSEAD, just thinking things over before closing all doors

Yeah i do think INSEAD is a better choice as compared to ISB given that you’ve already got an admit from INSEAD

Hey, do technical certifications, such as CCNA, DEVNET hold any importance in ISB Application? The reason I am asking this is because my certificates would be expiring this July.My GMAT is scheduled in August and I have limited time Hence, I just wanted to know in case they hold any importance, I would try to re certify somehow, managing the time crunch. Thanks!

Is there a separate section to add the certifications? I have noticed that IIMs strictly specify that we cannot mention the technical certifications as achievement, hence asking
