I don’t think so. It was COVID and I feel a lot of people would have been affected. The ISB app provides you with space to explain the reason for the gap in work-ex. I would recommend you use that to explain the reason. Furthermore, I understand that ISB is providing an optional essay to help candidates highlight any extenuating circumstances. You might want to include what you did during that break and highlight some of the skills that you gained during this period in that essay. I hope I’m making sense

Thanks, i will be getting a letter of recommendation from from an ISB Alum. Does it give more authenticity or is it similar to any other recommendation.
