Your guess is as good as mine!

But I thought it was later 🤔

Anyhow, I don’t like keeping a track of that, it’s a waste of time

If last year, R1 result was in 2nd week of Nov, did you check when the last interview of that R1 was? That could give us an indication when current R1 result might come. Someone said they had interview on 21st Nov which might be one of the last days of R1 interviews ...

Okay! I think you can just start your applications there instead of waiting on this one.

You can also join the feedback group of MBA Conquerors, which is creating a 4.0 model designed more in line with what Harvard expects.

It’s free for this R2. The only thing needed of you is constant feedback on improvement and of course, your success/failure story.

In person, you’re able to leave a better impression on people but that’s more an unconscious benefit. They can’t treat virtual or in-person interviews any different though. People’s life doesn’t revolve around ISB and there’s no harm in accepting that. ISB knows it

How much words of essay is expected each?
For the application or on-the-spot write-ups?

Last year, it seems the last set of R1 interviews were over by 28-29 Oct, then R1 results were released on 17th Nov - almost 3 weeks later. So, if interviews are still going till 23-26th Nov now, then R1 results might come out be 14-15th December

That would be too late i guess, The results should be out before the R2 deadlines is what most people who interviewed heard from adcoms at the interview location.

For virtual interviews, do they give the topics to the candidates and they need to email them the answers after writing the essays offline? Or are the essays on ISB’s platform?

It will be on the school’s portal itself. Exact same process is followed for both virtual and in-person modes
