Hi
Prakriti2600 Late in replying, but I hope you find value in my suggestions/comments. Your strength in the admissions process is judged based on your career growth progression and clarity about your goals. Just because you are coming from a less represented pool does not make you special, unless you can prove in your application how you are special and likely an overachiever in your domain, relative to those in the same age and experience pool.
I was recently doing a ding analysis for an architect who had decent work experience in a real estate consulting firm but still got rejected because he did not show how his skills were applicable in the broader context of business consulting and planning roles, which he wanted to transition into after the ISB PGP. The sooner you grasp the importance of this, the more effectively you will be able to position your skills and experience for the roles you are likely to pursue post-MBA.
For people with B.Arch backgrounds, I would say the expectations are not any different from those for engineers. Get a competitive score, ideally, target at least a 675 on the GMAT or around 330 if you plan to take the GRE.

I am an architect with almost 2 years of work experience in a global company. I am planning to do an MBA. What would be the ideal GMAT score for a professional like me? Am i at an advantage of any sort?
