Saibaba99 That is a very interesting problem. A little late to the conversation, but hope it still gives some perspective. You must have a very impressive profile for making it this early to ISB, not taking the credit away that you did well on the interview too. If I were you, I would take the PGP program any day over the HEC MiM. I have very strong reasons for this. When you are at a stage in your career where you are able to bear the fruit of your good work, you should pick the degree that sets you up for long-term success. HEC is fantastic for MiM (have worked in France so I know), but as an international student, there is a certain commitment that comes with the decision to pick MiM which will restrict you somewhat in terms of the kind of roles you will get and also in terms of geography. If you know a little about the French corporate sector, the MBA is a relatively new concept. When the HEC MiM was created more than two decades ago, a Master's degree from one of the prestigious schools (Grandes écoles) was considered equivalent to having 'made it' in life. The Master in Management was created with the same idea i.e. to combine the same prestige with a management degree, at a time when the MBA was not so popular in France. But times are changing fast. There are management degrees that are shorter and have strong MBA brand associations (think INSEAD and LBS). If you are planning to get into global corporates or consulting companies, and not traditional French MNCs, a shorter program would make more sense in my perspective. ISB PGP, which is basically an MBA, will give you global mobility options too if you try well enough. The HEC MiM comes with a lot of time commitment.
