Hi everyone
Need some advice. I gave the GFE yesterday and did not score great on it but have completed the rest of the application for R1. I will be applying in R2 after giving the GFE again. Do I need to do anything to my application or will it carry forward into R2 itself?? Thanks in advance.
It will be carry forwarded to R2 automatically

Hi @Vipulgupta07, GMAT FE 655+ will be better. Though GMAT score alone doesn’t define final selection

Hi @amit0087, you have a great profile. Any score above 645+ in GMAT FE, you will be serious candidate for ISB.

Work experience in NCDC in young age and work in SBI are both outstanding. On top, you have previous MBA in finance.

Apart from ISB, you should target IIM A, B, C.

What Indian colleges are suited for my profile also is there any chance for ISB ?
How much GMAT score should I target for the same?
Academics aren’t that great. Extensive experience in finance is a strength that can be leveraged in essays and interviews. Your choice of school would also depend on your post MBA aspirations and target GMAT score will also be a function of your target school. In general, 655+ should definitely be your target. Hii guys I am yet to give GMAT exam in 15 days I have work experience of 6 year in IOCL + 7.6 GPA IN BTECH + 88.4% in 12th + 8.4 CGPA in 10th. No drop year . GATE rank 246 in ME in year 2018. How much do i need to score in GMAT to get into IIMA or ISB
General advice would be to score 655+. But GMAT is a component of your overall profile so a lot would also depend on other aspects of your application.

Hi Manan, thanks a lot for sharing this info. With this new program, would there be a reduction in the number of seats for the full time PGP program? In other words, would the competition increase for the full time PGP intake of ‘25?

For a given candidate, you’ll get to know only 5-7 days in advance. But in general, the invites would most likely start coming in for some candidates from next week itself

Hey everyone,

Calling all ISB R1 applicants this year (ISB Co' 2026)! Planning something to manage our anxiety and plan the next days till interview invite rolls out efficiently, and get started with interview prep.
I feel paying consultants a bomb at this moment when we all are surrounded by uncertainty is not worth right now, so why not let's host alumni sessions on interview tips.

Hey,Sidharthkp98

Overall, good profile, you have a good chance. Try to score a competitive score (655+). Although you haven't mentioned your post-MBA goals, you should have a clear understanding of your post-MBA goals, which is a strong point. Many applicants struggle with this. Explaining this in an impactful manner in your essays will help you create a strong application.

665 or above Sidharthkp98.

Note that chance of admission would be a bit "jumping the gun" at this juncture. A score of 665 or above, along with a well-crafted application, has a decent chance of fetching you an interview call.

Subsequently, chances of admission would also significantly depend upon how your interview goes.
