Where can I get the direct feedback?
If you are a reapplicant, you could write to ISB for feedback.

Academics are quite good. More details on work experience, especially positions or projects of leadership could help further evaluation. Try retaking GMAT if you have the bandwidth. Please connect on 9619551984 should you seek a detailed discussion

Very nice profile yazlal25. Post MBA goal also seems to be well aligned.

Just curious to know why you decided to pursue Diploma after your class 10, rather than Engineering after class-12?

p.s. With your experience, hope you are applying to other schools (such as IIMs) as well. Always a risky proposition to put all your eggs in ISB's basket;)

Hi yazlal25, Good profile with some differentiation points in terms of education and work profile.

Academics - Excellent, good marks, gold medallist in BE as well as MTech
GMAT - Decent enough to apply.
Work experience - Environment and Sustainability Management is something that has grown in importance over the years, and this field is still wide open to grow. Any experience in this is valued.
Overall Career - Your education, work experience and career goals have good alignment and tell a coherent story. No concerns there.
Issues to look out for - Why MBA when you have MTech and you are, and you will work in a similar field as your post graduation, especially when you already are a consultant? Also, work experience is slightly higher, so you should apply to IIMs as well.

Best of luck.

I wanted to request a quick profile evaluation and also check if applying in Round 2 would affect my chances compared to Round 1.

My current GMAT FE score is 615, and I’m planning to reattempt by the end of August. If I am unable to reach or cross 675, I am considering applying in Round 2.
No harm done in R2 at all. So, focus on getting a good GMAT score, whenever that happens.

You might find the following article useful: Which round of ISB has best chances of admission?

Good luck!

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to request a quick profile evaluation and also check if applying in Round 2 would affect my chances compared to Round 1.

My current GMAT FE score is 615, and I’m planning to reattempt by the end of August. If I am unable to reach or cross 675, I am considering applying in Round 2.

22, Female

Brief Profile:
• 10th (CBSE): 9.0 CGPA
• 12th (CBSE): 9.26 CGPA
• Graduation: B.Com (Hons) with a diploma in Computer Applications – St. Francis College, Hyderabad | GPA: 9.35
• Current Role: Analyst at Arcesium (spun out of D.E. Shaw Group) – Middle Office & Pricing
• Promoted in Jan 2025
• 2.1 years of work experience currently

Leadership & Extracurriculars:
• President – Student Council and multiple Clubs
• President – Toastmasters Club (member for 2 years)
• Organised college-level and external events, led sponsorship efforts
• HPAIR delegate, NSS volunteer
• Participated and won some case competitions and helped plan/execute college events
• Occasionally emcee internal and external events, including the decade annual office party

Looking to get into Growth, Marketing or B2B product growth roles.

Would appreciate your thoughts on this profile and whether applying in Round 2 would reduce my chances in any way.
Hi WA@kzx595,

No applying in R2 will not reduce your chances.

Academics is great with good marks throughout and B.Com in Computer Applications is a useful practical course that you have done.

Career wise, you already have been promoted within 2 years of work experience.

Extra Curricular are strong with leadership positions in college and outside.

What needs to be done - As you have already realized, the GMAT score needs to go up, especially at a lower experience, higher GMAT will be needed. So do target good GMAT score, bring out leadership quality in you in applications and you are good to go.

Best wishes

Hi mansiiiiiii123,

You have lot of diversity points in your profile - Graduation in English Literature. Post graduation in Sustainable Development. Published Papers. good NGO work. Work experience in ESG. MBA colleges like anyone who brings different perspective, and you bring a LOT.

You have also worked in data analysis side along with experience of handling large scale trainings - adding leadership and analytics dimension to your profile.

The marks are not on higher side in academics, thats a very minor concern. Overall you should target anything above 645+ and you will be good.

Best wishes
