3 years work experience in ZS Associates on consulting end. 1 promotion. Have received recognition awards for good performance ( Received PPO)
Have won multiple national level case competitions from IIM C, IIMB etc. Awarded Dare2compete top 30 Eng Leaders. Received Special achievers award from College.
State level Table tennis player. Won multiple school state level tournaments, and represented at nationals. Have Khelo India Scholarship.
Senior Diploma in Painting and Music( Tabla Instrument). Also have volunteer experience as student consultant in NGOs and helping underprivileged communities.
Recently gave GRE - but scored only 315. Would retake the exam to get a higher score to apply in Round 2. What are the chances of securing an admit through this profile
Hi
WA@tri1080, Strong profile. Your sports credentials are great. As a state level player with a khelo India scholarship, you are in a league of your own. On top of that, Painting, tabla and NGO work. Thats a real nice work.
Good academics, well known college. You have been recognized in your job and won multiple case competitions.
There is more than enough in your profile to get admit.
Sometimes, people get selected with 315 as well with such profile. But to have a more reasonable chance try to aim for 323+.
Best Wishes.

Profile Evaluation :-
Hello team,
My primary focus is ISB PGP for this year, below are my profile details :-
10th - 10 CGPA
12th - 91%
Electrical Engineering from MS Ramaiah College, Bangalore :- 8.74 CGPA, graduated in 2020.
GMAT FE = 635
Not sure if this matter but got 96.8 % in CAT 2024
Worked for 1 year in L&T Constructions and I am currently working at Deloitte USI as a consultant for US healthcare clients, received multiple performance awards and consistent strong rating. Total Work Ex :- 5 years
My co curricular is only in volunteering where I have been a teaching volunteer for Teach for India at a government school for around 50 hours.
I am going to obviously attempt the GMAT FE since it is still lower than the median, however wanted to know what my chances are if I am not able to improve my score.
Hi
rkleo98,
If you are not able to improve the scores, then your chances are slightly low.
The reason - There is good competition among people with consulting background AND the extra curricular is not that competitive.
But, you will not need much more, meaning a 10-20 points improvement will go a long way as healthcare consulting experience is valuable and you have been awarded multiple times. And for this exact reason, the chances are not outright slim even at 635, but its definitely not advised if you have chance to improve it.
Best Wishes
