Prepared for an year for gmat, had 2 attempts of gmat.
First I enrolled in some coaching wasted a handsome amount of money and also 6 months.
Then I opted fir TTP but again in my pov gmat tests you im every aspect not just if you can answer a question or not and yes GMAT will take lot of efforts and good amount of time.

Hi Ayush

wanted to know, are you also preparing for GMAT? I have just join this community and getting accustomed to the platform I have some doubts to kickstart my ISB Preparation journey, let me know if you can help. The UI/UX and interface is so bad here ..

Can anyone give the feedback of top one percentile sandeep gupta classes??
His RC-octave is good, if you mix it with your tricks and process, not just following him blindly.

WA@tri1080
Hi team, would like to get a profile evaluation for ISB.

10th- 95%, 12th - 88%, Btech CSE(VIT Vellore) - 8.82

3 years work experience in ZS Associates on consulting end. 1 promotion. Have received recognition awards for good performance ( Received PPO)

Have won multiple national level case competitions from IIM C, IIMB etc. Awarded Dare2compete top 30 Eng Leaders. Received Special achievers award from College.

State level Table tennis player. Won multiple school state level tournaments, and represented at nationals. Have Khelo India Scholarship.

Senior Diploma in Painting and Music( Tabla Instrument). Also have volunteer experience as student consultant in NGOs and helping underprivileged communities.

Recently gave GRE - but scored only 315. Would retake the exam to get a higher score to apply in Round 2. What are the chances of securing an admit through this profile
Hi WA@tri1080, Strong profile. Your sports credentials are great. As a state level player with a khelo India scholarship, you are in a league of your own. On top of that, Painting, tabla and NGO work. Thats a real nice work.

Good academics, well known college. You have been recognized in your job and won multiple case competitions.

There is more than enough in your profile to get admit.

Sometimes, people get selected with 315 as well with such profile. But to have a more reasonable chance try to aim for 323+.

Best Wishes.

Profile Evaluation :-
Hello team,
My primary focus is ISB PGP for this year, below are my profile details :-
10th - 10 CGPA
12th - 91%
Electrical Engineering from MS Ramaiah College, Bangalore :- 8.74 CGPA, graduated in 2020.
GMAT FE = 635
Not sure if this matter but got 96.8 % in CAT 2024
Worked for 1 year in L&T Constructions and I am currently working at Deloitte USI as a consultant for US healthcare clients, received multiple performance awards and consistent strong rating. Total Work Ex :- 5 years
My co curricular is only in volunteering where I have been a teaching volunteer for Teach for India at a government school for around 50 hours.
I am going to obviously attempt the GMAT FE since it is still lower than the median, however wanted to know what my chances are if I am not able to improve my score.
Hi rkleo98,
If you are not able to improve the scores, then your chances are slightly low.

The reason - There is good competition among people with consulting background AND the extra curricular is not that competitive.

But, you will not need much more, meaning a 10-20 points improvement will go a long way as healthcare consulting experience is valuable and you have been awarded multiple times. And for this exact reason, the chances are not outright slim even at 635, but its definitely not advised if you have chance to improve it.

Best Wishes

How many hours do you think one should study to go from 600 to 700 ?

How does my profile look

I have a total of 3.9 years of work ex in a mid tier firm.
With one year experience in US
I am working as a project executive for a $250 million project handling engineering coordinator and construction coordinator. I have worked in process, procurement, construction and planning&costing and scheduling.
I am also working closely(directly under him ) with our group chairman to set up meetings with the US goverment officials like senators, governors, Congressman and i have also met them along with him in person.
I conduct review meetings on the project with the senior management, CEO and CFO on a weekly basis.
I am well recognised in the company but since its an industry i got only one promotion in cadre wise.

How do my profile weigh in admissions

I haven’t given my gmat yet and aiming for 700 and want to apply for R2 for ISB

Can I get a ISB interview call with 690 GMAT classic
10-92
12-54
Grad-54
7 year work ex in PSB
FRM
CFA L2
Hi WA@dlu2771, There is a decent chance to get shortlist for ISB with 690 score. Banking experience is given value and you have FRM and CFA L2. The only downside is lower academic score. Mostly it should not be enough to overpower other aspects for shortlist.

But of course try for higher GMAT if possible OR bring more colleges in your target with same score to reduce risk.

Best of luck.

He is a scam
If you have money for coaching
Hire a tutor
Better value for money
I am seeing sort of mixed reviews for top one percent.. I took his classes and could complete verbal section half part only, who has felt helpful, especially otaave theary. I couldn’t complete all classes and my subscription over.
I’m thinking of getting the subscription continued by paying extra amount.

Can anyone who has completed all classes help me understand review? So that I can decide whether to pay for extension or not

Plus earlier the extention was for minimal amount, now extension is almost similar to original cost.. hardly 3 k difference

About the top one percent
His RC octave theory works for me after I built my concepts by solving 50 rcs and after completing ttp, it helps me to increase my speed his tricks works for me when I mix them with my own ways.
So for RC everyone have their own strategies.

And for CR yeah it helped a little but if you are already good at verbal, TTP is best for it.
Solve sandeep Gupta's class material in that he putted OG and LSAT questions

For quants SG is not good, do ttp and that's more than enough for building concepts and for the practice also it will ace you up from Q75 to Q85ish and after that it's your hardword and smartness to handle the exam!

Can some one tells me that whatever questions under focus edition when we filter from Question banks or GMAT club. Is their chances of coming same question in exam also

Should I give exam if my accuracy for medium level question around 80%

Or should I give 10 mock exam then only go for actual exam
