Though they are not emphasising in particular range except the regular score range that they have mentioned on their website, anything above 710 or 720 should be fine i guess. I have also seen few ppl with 700 score from india got admitted in the clearadmit admission wire history.

That is true irrespective of gender. If you see clear admit history rice and emory has few very few indian admits in R1.

If this means final admissions in R1 then has anyone heard from Rice in this context?

If you meant just receiving calls, I am Indian Male Engineer with 700 GMAT. I got a call after my application and I was expecting it too. I think they truly consider profile along with GMAT.
