Hi guys,

I was interviewed on 27th Nov'14.Interview was generic & went for about 22 mins.My status changed to 'Waitlisted' on 2nd Dec'14 received no mail from the university till date. Weren't they supposed to notify the wait listed applicant decisions by 15th Dec'14.I inquired about my status from the university but received no response.As per my discussions with a current student of Katz,the decision for W/L applicants would be released by 15th Jan'15. May I submit any additional information/certifications which might strengthen my candidacy.

Profile:
W.E-4.5 yrs in a top steel manufacturing firm in operations.Experience in erection & commissioning of Cold Rolling Mill project.
Undergraduate- Mechanical Engg (V.T.U Karnataka, 72%)
GRE (& NOT GMAT): 305/340

Hi guys,

Hey everyone!

So I'm targeting the 1st Feb deadline and I was looking though the essay prompts and was confused.

"In 250 words or less, tell us 1) your post-graduate career goal, 2) your skills (what you're really good at), and 3) your key accomplishments."

Does this mean that all three prompts have to be answered within a limit of 250 words or each prompt has a 250 word limit?

I'm interested in 1-year MBA program at KATZ. After I checked the requirement, I found that the minimum GMAT is 600. However, the class profile shows the range of GMAT between 550-698. Does it mean under 600 scores on GMAT couldn't apply for one-year MBA?

Hi,

It does seem to be a requirement. Did you check the GMAT range for the 1 year MBA program specifically or is it just one class profile overall for both 1 and the 2 year program? Either way, you can still apply if you have strong credentials in terms of work experiences, undergrad GPA and extra curricular. Alternatively, you can get in touch with the school and clarify your doubt through email or phone.

Are we required to submit official transcripts to Katz at the time of application submission itself? I could not find any information on the website if this can be sent after acceptance. All the other schools I applied to have asked for official transcripts only after acceptance. Is it not the same with Katz?

MBAGirl17,

I am applying for MACC and found the following in the instructions:

If official transcripts were not submitted at the time of application you will be required to bring the original academic documents with you for verification if you are admitted.

Do they mean upload scan copy of transcripts for admission purpose.. then submit original transcripts after admission?

However, I am still concerned about this. So sent an email to them.. waiting for their reply!

Nope I'm applying to the Full-Time MBA program.
250 words isn't much to play around with tbh.
